The Effective CPR & Initial AED Training course is designed to develop the skills and knowledge of candidates to enable them to perform effective Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) as well as the safe use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).
Statistically, the chances of meaningful survival are reduced by 10% for every minute an AED is not used. By equipping your workforce with these skills you significantly increase the maximum chance of survival.
On completion of the Effective CPR & Initial AED Training course, candidates will be able to understand how to achieve effective CPR, the theory of heart attacks and how to use an AED safely.
